The National Weather Service forecast calls for full sun today, no meaningful rain chance and a light south-southeast breeze of 1 to 8 mph. Temperatures should ease back toward the upper 70s later in the afternoon, with a mostly clear night and a low near 56.
Tomorrow will be cooler, topping out around 74 degrees, while southwest winds increase during the afternoon and could gust up to 18 mph, according to the National Weather Service. Monday night should stay partly cloudy, with temperatures falling to about 57.
Foggy Starts Arrive Tuesday
Patchy fog is possible Tuesday between about 7 and 8 AM, followed by mostly sunny skies and a high near 72. Wednesday brings another foggy start before 9 a.m., then sunny conditions and a high around 76.
Thursday should follow the same general script, with patchy fog before 10 AM and a mostly sunny afternoon near 77. Friday stays mostly sunny near 76, while Saturday rebounds slightly to around 78 under sunny skies.
Cool Nights Stay In The Forecast
Overnight lows will generally remain in the mid-to-upper 50s through the week, ranging from about 55 to 58 degrees. San Jose has no weather alerts listed, but early risers may want a light layer for the fog and cooler mornings before the sun takes over.
