Yesterday, August 29th, a suspect was arrested on an outstanding warrant, after a shots fired incident in Roxbury.
Xavier Barrientos, 22, of Boston, was arrested in the area of 1525 Commonwealth Avenue for charges related to unlawful possession of a firearm, discharge of a firearm within 500ft of a building, and assault by means of a dangerous weapon according to the Boston Police Department.
The original incident took place earlier this month in August 10th, when officers responded to a report of shots fired at 77 Maple Street in Roxbury.

The Boston Police Department reported that ballistic evidence was found at the crime scene, leading to an investigation that identified Barrientos as the shooter and subsequently led to a warrant being sought for his arrest.
Barrientos is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court on these charges.
