Update: Alameda Alert: City Searches for Missing 8-Year-Old Boy

UPDATE: Missing juvenile has been located and reunited with family.

The Alameda Police Department issued an AC Alert asking residents to be on the lookout for an 8-year-old boy who had gone missing in their city. The young boy, described as a bald African American male, roughly 4 feet tall, was reportedly last seen in the area of Lincoln Ave. at Sherman St. wearing a white shirt, blue shorts, and orange-and-black Nike shoes, his disappearance sparking an immediate concern among the community.

As the search for the child is ongoing, law enforcement is actively working to locate the young boy to ensure his safe return home, utilizing the AC Alert system——while reports have yet to indicate any findings or progress about the search.

The Alameda Police Department remains committed to the search, asking anyone with information to come forward and contact them as soon as possible in hope for a positive outcome.
