
A 36-year-old woman, Christina Villalobos, from Pittsburg, California, was arrested yesterday, after allegedly brandishing a firearm during a parking dispute at Linda Mar Beach in Pacifica, according to a press release by the Pacifica Police Department.
Officers responded to a call at approximately 2:41 PM, reporting a parking dispute involving a firearm in the Linda Mar Beach parking lot, located at 495 Linda Mar Boulevard. The investigating officer arrived at the scene and collected identifying information from the reporting parties about the suspect and the involved vehicle.
It took an extensive search, but eventually, the officers managed to locate the suspect vehicle parked on the 100 block of Rockaway Beach Avenue. With a coordinated effort, Villalobos was detained without incident. It later emerged during the police investigation that she had allegedly threatened three individuals with an apparently loaded handgun in the midst of a dispute over parking, with a child also present in the vehicle at the time, which has significantly heightened the severity of the situation.
Based on the available evidence, officers established probable cause to arrest Villalobos, who now faces multiple charges including 245(A)(2) PC- Assault with Firearm on Person- Felony, 273A(A) PC – Child Endangerment- Felony, and 417(A)(1) PC- Exhibit Deadly Weapon- Misdemeanor. She was subsequently booked into the San Mateo County jail for the stated violations.
