Dami Kim, a 39-year-old San Mateo resident went missing more than a month ago. The police are seeking any assistance they may receive in their attempt to locate her and her missing tan toy poodle named Curry. Missing since July 12, 2023, Kim was last seen near the Bridgepointe Apartments at 2201 Bridgepointe Parkway in San Mateo according to the San Mateo Police Department (SMPD) advisory on Nixle.
Kim is a Korean female standing at 5'2" tall and approximately weighing 105 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Prior to moving to San Mateo, she lived in Orange County and the Los Angeles area. The San Mateo Police Department is now actively investigating the circumstances surrounding her disappearance, trying to retrace any connections she may have in the areas where she used to live and places she was last known to visit.
The San Mateo case stands out because not only is Kim missing, but her beloved pet dog, a tan toy poodle named Curry, has also vanished along with her. This fact may provide a meaningful clue, or appeal differently to individuals in the area who may not have noticed Kim alone.
The San Mateo Police Department, under the guidance of Detective Lazaro, is actively reaching out for any information that could lead to Kim's whereabouts. As detailed in the Nixle advisory, anyone possessing any information related to this case is encouraged to contact Detective Lazaro at (650) 522-7661 or directly through email at [email protected].
