Oakland PD Asks for Help in Search of an At-Risk Senior Citizen

Kehchung Tou's went missing on August 26, 2023. The Oakland Police Department has reached out to the community and media partners for assistance in locating Mr. Tou, a 76-year-old Chinese male who is now considered at risk due to his age and early diagnosis of dementia according to a press release by the Oakland PD.

Last seen around 10:30am on the day of his disappearance, Tou was driving a black 2022 Toyota Highlander in the 4000 block of Midvale Avenue. His California license plate number is 9AON160, and he is known to frequent both San Francisco and Alameda in addition to Oakland. Standing at 5'4" and weighing 145 pounds, Tou has grey and black hair, brown eyes, and no facial hair. His family contends that, despite his early stages of dementia, he remains in good physical condition.
