At the heart of a chilling case in Contra Costa County, California, a bartender named Brandon Delliquadri faces multiple charges of rape. The 35-year-old is currently in jail, with a bail set at over $4 million, accused of raping at least seven women.

The unsettling allegations against Delliquadri include forcible rape, rape of an unconscious person, and forcible sodomy, as described by Contra Costa County Deputy District Attorney Greg Chiarilla. It is believed that Delliquadri targeted intoxicated individuals, often preying on victims in vulnerable situations.

A recent survivor of Delliquadri’s alleged actions spoke with NBC Bay Area about her ordeal. She detailed how Delliquadri used alcohol, physical intimidation, and psychological manipulation to render her incoherent, ultimately taking advantage of her vulnerability.

On Tuesday, the Walnut Creek Police Department reached out to the community for additional victims of sexual assault to come forward. Their arrest of Delliquadri on July 7th was the result of diligent investigations by both patrol officers and detectives, who subsequently filed multiple counts of forcible rape and one count of rape of an unconscious victim against him.

Due to the nature and circumstances surrounding the case, police suspect that there may be even more victims out there, which adds to an already troubling scenario. Authorities are aware of the challenges faced by survivors in reporting sexual assaults and urge those who have information or have experienced any form of sexual assault to contact the Walnut Creek Police Department at 925-943-5844 or call the Anonymous Tip Line at 925-943-5865.

The survivor who spoke to NBC Bay Area is also encouraging others to come forward, sharing a powerful message: “Putting yourself in a bar situation doesn’t mean you deserve this. And I hope they know they’re not alone.”
