Public Urged to Help Emeryville PD In Solving Mysterious Homicide

In an endeavor to bring closure to an unsolved homicide case, the Emeryville Police Department (EPD) has released surveillance footage and is seeking the public's assistance in identifying a person of interest associated with the harrowing incident. This tragic event took place on May 26th, 2023, at around 11:38 PM near the proximity of 41st Street and San Pablo Avenue, and the victim was a man in his 30s, who was shot multiple times, ultimately succumbing to his fatal injuries.

Despite the passage of nearly three months since the crime occurred, the EPD has carried on diligently with its investigation, thoroughly reviewing available video surveillance in the area. As a result, detectives have managed to identify a person of interest who was seen in the vicinity at the time of the shooting via Emeryville PD.
