On Thursday, San Pablo police officers made a startling discovery. A routine traffic stop resulted in a cache of Lululemon bags, marijuana, a loaded gun, and an impressive sum of cash, all tucked away within the confines of the wanted vehicle, as posted on the San Pablo Police Department's Facebook page.
As reported by KRON4, officers initially noticed the suspicious vehicle in the San Pablo Towne Center. Upon stopping the car, police discovered that the driver had a previous record for robbery and was on probation. When officers searched the vehicle further, the driver's illegal stash came to light, including the loaded gun hidden beneath his seat, as well as the sizable hoard of marijuana and cash. A total of 14 bags of Lululemon products were also discovered, their origins as yet unconfirmed.
There is no Lululemon store in San Pablo, with the nearest locations found in Berkeley and Corte Madera, which adds further curiosity to the case.
Both suspects have since been transported to the Contra Costa County jail, where they will face the consequences of their alleged crimes.
