Update: Lockdown has been lifted at James Lick High School. Students are returning home now.
Today a harrowing event occurred at James Lick High School as two juvenile students were stabbed by an unknown assailant who fled the scene before the police arrived, according to the San Jose Police Media Relations.
Officers are currently at James Lick High School investigating a stabbing incident involving two juvenile students. The unknown suspect(s) fled the scene prior to police arrival. Both juveniles were transported to a local hospital with at least one stab wound.

The two injured juveniles, who have not been identified to protect their privacy, were promptly transported to a local hospital to receive urgent care for their stab wounds. In the meantime, law enforcement officials carefully combed the area for the perpetrator(s) while the school remained on lockdown.
