In the Dorchester neighborhood of Boston, a recent act of senseless destruction has abruptly interrupted the peace, as two 13-year-old juveniles were arrested following a malicious vandalism spree in which a local school fell victim.
According to the Boston Police Department, the young perpetrators initially shattered a security camera by throwing rocks before hurling a brick through a glass door in pursuit of unlawful entry.
As the authorities responded to the breaking and entering in progress on Sunday, August 27th, the juvenile suspects managed to evade immediate capture, forcing officers to conduct a more extensive search of the area.
However, their freedom proved to be short-lived, as a mere three hours later, they were spotted, apprehended, and placed under arrest.
Given the severity of the charges held against them—malicious destruction of property, breaking and entering in the daytime, and vandalism to a school—the young culprits will be subject to arraignment in Boston Juvenile Court.
