The driver of a Mini Cooper, 19-year-old Liam Kavanagh, now faces felony charges of DUI, while his 19-year-old passenger is also charged with failure to disclose identity as per NBC Boston.
Financial support for McRae's recovery journey has been overwhelming, with the Greg Hill Foundation pledging to match donations up to $10,000 and a GoFundMe account set up in his name surpassing a goal of $60,000 and raising more than $132,000 reported by Boston.com.
