According to Boston25 News, the MBTA Red Line service was replaced with shuttle buses between Porter and Park St, causing significant delays and inconveniences for the public.
As the smoke investigation continued, the Red Line service was further restricted, operating on a single track between Alewife and Porter, as reported by WCVB.
