Last Saturday, two Chicago Police Officers fell victim to aggravated battery on the 1500 block of S. Christiana Ave in North Lawndale.
Three days later, an alleged offender was arrested on the 3500 block of W. Fulton Blvd in connection to the case, on Tuesday, September 5.
The suspect's name is Dantrell Dehart, a 30-year-old man from the Chicago-area.
Dehart faces two felony charges, one for aggravated battery of a peace officer, and another for aggravated battery resulting in severe bodily harm.
Additionally, he was charged with two misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest, per a statement from Chicago PD.
