According to CBS News, the horrific incident unfolded on Monday, September 18th, when 28-year-old Timothy Terrell Davis fired several shots at his own brother, 33-year-old Devon D. Davis. This shocking act of violence, apparently the result of a domestic dispute, force police officers to arrive on the scene rapidly, only to find Devon suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was quickly transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
As reported by Hoodline Chicago, the situation escalated when the suspected shooter, Timothy, fled the family home on foot, prompting both an extensive search by law enforcement and a state of emergency within the community.
