Search for Runaway Missing 16-Year-Old Girl from Hayward

Jessica Quej-Caal, a 16-year-old girl, last seen in the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 22, 2023, has been reported as a runaway missing child by the Alameda County Sheriff's Office.

Jessica, described as having long, straight, black hair, and brown eyes, was last spotted at her home in the 21000 block of Meekland Avenue in Hayward, CA. Standing approximately 5'3" tall and weighing 120 lbs, she was wearing a gray polo shirt, red shorts and pink Crocs shoes at the time of her disappearance.

According to the Alameda County Sheriff's Office, Jessica is unfamiliar with public transportation, and the surrounding area. She had a cell phone with her that she used to communicate via a text application – information that might prove vital in locating the missing teen.

The Alameda County Sheriff's Office and local law enforcement agencies are urging members of the public to report any information that may help in locating the missing girl.
