The Oakland community recently came together in a time of crisis, aiding in the successful search for 14-year-old Roxana Ramirez Jimenez, a previously missing person considered to be at risk. The Oakland Police Department confirmed, via their official announcement yesterday, that Roxana has been safely located.
Roxana's story began when she went missing on September 20, just after 8:30 a.m. in the 4300 block of Broadway, as reported in Hoodline. The case garnered particular attention due to Roxana's age and, in response, the Oakland Police Department issued a request for the public's assistance. As news of her disappearance spread, the Oakland community rose to the challenge, mobilizing in support of Roxana and her family. Fellow citizens remained alert and shared information about her whereabouts, adding momentum to the search efforts.
