The Oakland Police Department announced today the safe location of missing person Penny Parker. Thanks to the tireless efforts of residents, media outlets, and law enforcement, the beloved 57-year-old woman suffering from early onset dementia returns to the comfort and security of her home and family. According to a statement from the Oakland Police Department, the previously missing woman had been at risk due to her debilitating medical condition.

Last seen on September 2nd in the 400 block of Oakland Avenue, the urgency of locating Penny Parker grew, as her dementia symptoms made her disappearance particularly distressing. As reported by Hoodline, when last sighted, she had been using a walking cane adorned with red and yellow tape near its bottom. Her family described her physical condition as poor, and the specifics of her apparel at the time of her disappearance were, unfortunately, unknown.
