Last night, a fatal car accident occurred on Route 395 southbound in Oxford near Exit 4, claiming the life of 31-year-old Shawn Marengo from Worcester. A post on the Massachusetts State Police News website stated Marengo lost control of his 1998 Jeep Wrangler, drove off the road, and collided with a tree before the vehicle ignited. Marengo suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
