Today, a patrol officer identified as Ofc. Kitchen apprehended a driver who was discovered to be in possession of a loaded "ghost" gun. According to the San Pablo Police Department's Facebook post, the driver, a convicted felon currently on probation, is legally prohibited from owning any weapons.
"Ghost" guns are untraceable firearms, often assembled from premade kits or manufactured using 3D-printing technology. These weapons lack serial numbers, making them difficult to track and extremely appealing to individuals who cannot legally own firearms.
