On Thursday night, a heartbreaking motorcycle accident left one person dead and another with grave injuries in Livermore. Riding along North Livermore Avenue near Interstate 580, around 8:30 p.m., the motorcycle met with a tragic end in what has been reported as a solo-vehicle collision, according to the Mercury News.
The California Highway Patrol confirmed that a male was pronounced dead at the scene, while a female was rushed to Eden Medical Center for treatment of her significant injuries.
As of now, the authorities have not yet made it clear which rider was in control of the motorcycle at the time of the accident, the investigation is still ongoing.
Not much has been revealed about the exact circumstances leading up to the tragic crash.
