The San Diego Central Jail was struck with tragedy as 63-year-old inmate Kenneth Galen Bach was discovered unresponsive in his cell yesterday.
According to the San Diego Sheriff's Office, deputies and jail medical staff immediately administered medical aid, an AED device, CPR, and Naloxone in an attempt to revive him. Despite their efforts and the involvement of the San Diego Fire Department, Bach, residing in Chula Vista before his arrest, passed away.
