
In a remarkable demonstration of collective will, the community of San Diego came together to ensure the safe return of 65-year-old Alejandro Ferrer, who had been declared a missing at-risk senior. According to a tweet from the San Diego Police Department yesterday, Ferrer was located and the family was able to breathe a sigh of relief.

As Hoodline reported earlier, Ferrer had last been seen in the vicinity of 6000 Banbury St around 4:30 PM on September 19th. The San Diego PD had appealed to the public to help find the 5'4", 120 lbs Filipino male, who had black hair, brown eyes, and was wearing a red and blue striped short-sleeved shirt paired with blue jeans at the time of his disappearance.
The San Diego Police Department expressed their gratitude in their tweet regarding Ferrer's safe return: "***UPDATE as of 9/19/23 @ 9:30am, Alejandro Ferrer has been located. Thank you for everyone's help***".
