
Yesterday around 11 a.m., a motorcycle crash transpired on Route 20 in Charlton, Massachusetts, near the famous Tree House Brewing Company, causing the highway to close down on both sides. As of 12:45 p.m., the road was still closed, with detours being set up for the distraught community, according to MassLive.
The initial investigation revealed that the tragic crash involved a motorcyclist and a station wagon, with both vehicles sustaining severe damage. Debris from the wreck littered the intersection, as reported by WCVB. The Massachusetts State Police, along with the Charlton Police Department, have taken on the daunting task of piecing together the events surrounding the accident. A crash reconstruction team was brought in to analyze the scene.
At the time the accident occurred, a white sheet was spotted covering part of Route 20 near the entrance of the brewery, as shown in video footage from Sky 5.
