The San Pablo Police Department, on recent nights, seized two illegal firearms. In each instance, according to the San Pablo Police Department's Facebook post, a traffic stop conducted by Officers Grabow and Trevino led to the arrests.

In one case, Officer Grabow's routine stop resulted in the recovery of a brown, unregistered gun equipped with a high-capacity magazine. In a separate incident, Officer Trevino’s stop led to the apprehension of a felon possessing a firearm and substantial amounts of methamphetamine. Both individuals were promptly arrested.

An earlier instance this year highlighted the recurring issue of illegal firearms. In that incident, also stemming from a traffic stop, officers were successful in recovering an illegal firearm.
