
A recent raid in the East County area of Spring Valley has caused waves as a man was taken into custody on several weapons and drug-related charges. According to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department, yesterday, deputies from the Rancho San Diego Sheriff's Station's Crime Suppression Team (CST) conducted a search warrant operation near Sweetwater Springs Road and Jamacha Boulevard.

This intrusive intervention came after an investigation suggested ongoing narcotics activity at the targeted location. The search brought to light a variety of illegal items, including approximately one pound of methamphetamine, two shotguns, two rifles, and four handguns. The house's occupant, Paul Moeller (DOB: 12/27/1961), has subsequently been arrested and faces numerous charges.
Moeller's charges consist of possession of methamphetamine for sale, prohibited person in possession of firearms, and possession of stolen firearms. The Sheriff's Department detailed the series of events without revealing further information about the suspect or the nature of the ongoing investigation that led to the search warrant's approval.
