Yesterday morning, residents in a quiet American Canyon neighborhood were rocked by a shocking incident. A man, suffering from a stab wound, staggered into a local Safeway seeking help. The victim, a 30-year-old male, clung to life as police arrived to handle the escalating situation - his injuries, though grave, appeared not to be life-threatening, according to a statement by the American Canyon Police Department.
The man recounted the harrowing tale, stating that his girlfriend had stabbed him in her house on the 200 block of Knightsbridge Way. The motive for the attack remains unclear; however, American Canyon officers wasted no time in securing the area and beginning their search for her. Residents in the vicinity were told to shelter in place as law enforcement set up a perimeter around the suspected location.
For the safety of all involved, officers requested assistance from both California Highway Patrol (CHP) Air and Napa Sheriff's Deputies.
