On early Saturday morning, the Hercules Police Department received a vital Flock camera notification, alerting them of a stolen 2008 Cadillac STS in the vicinity of westbound Hercules Avenue and Titan Way. The vehicle had been reported stolen to the Oakland Police Department just a day earlier, on September 1st, according to a Facebook post by the Hercules Police Department. Upon locating the Cadillac, the officer discovered that it was occupied and promptly detained the driver.
As reported in a tweet by Henry K. Lee, investigative reporter for KTVU, the driver was identified as 30-year-old Ivan Arturo Ramirez, who has previous convictions for theft and vandalizing a San Leandro temple.
Upon Ramirez's arrest, the stolen Cadillac was soon returned to its rightful owner, exemplifying a swift response by law enforcement.
