The precarious incident occurred around 2:27 a.m., when the driver, having been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence, left the community in the dark as a consequence of their actions. As KRON4 reported, Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) personnel were immediately summoned on site to attend to the issue and commence necessary repairs.
While the involved individual was promptly apprehended, the power outage situation was decidedly unresolved for hours. PG&E advised the residents that it may take a significant amount of time to restore power to the affected area.
