This tragedy arrives only a year after the unexpected death of his brother and fellow officer, Robert J. MacLean, according to the Boston Police Department.
Both brothers were beloved members of the community, with Robert J. MacLean having been a devoted husband and father, while also serving as a cherished brother, uncle, and godfather, as the Boston Globe mentioned.
