
Earlier today, a 16-year-old girl became the unfortunate victim of a shooting at a gas station on the 4200 block of W. 26th St. in Chicago.
According to the Chicago Police Department, the young female was seated in the passenger seat of a vehicle around 1:54 a.m. when shots rang out from a black SUV.
Suffering from a gunshot wound to the head, the girl was transported to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
As the investigation continues, and Area Four detectives work tirelessly to locate the assailants, no suspects have been apprehended nor have any arrests been made.
