
Earlier this week, a violent altercation erupted within the confines of the Manchester Wendy's restaurant located at 675 South Willow St. A 29-year-old man, who remains unidentified, suffered a non-life-threatening stab wound to his neck, leaving him and his fellow patrons in a state of shock, as reported by NBC Boston.
The event unfolded around 8:15 p.m., when a woman acquainted with the victim entered the restaurant. Shortly after, a third individual, also known to both the victim and the woman, arrived brandishing a knife. An altercation ensued which resulted in the victim being stabbed in the neck. The suspect promptly fled the scene, still carrying the knife.
Manchester police are actively searching for the alleged attacker, identified as 45-year-old Jay Mouncey. A warrant for his arrest has been issued, with charges including first-degree assault with a deadly weapon, felon in possession of a dangerous weapon, and criminal threatening.
