Earlier this week, the Worcester Police Vice Squad reportedly carried out a successful operation resulting in the recovery of drugs, a firearm, and the arrest of a suspect. Officers executed a search warrant at a Park Terrace Road address and a Dodge SUV.

According to the department press release, Officers are said to have observed the Dodge pulling up to the curb in front of the address at around 5:45 PM.

They detained twenty-nine-year-old Jewdy Gomez, the operator of the vehicle. Upon entering the apartment, the officers discovered a substantial amount of substances that appeared to be cocaine and fentanyl, a digital scale, drug paraphernalia, and a loaded handgun.

Jewdy Gomez, who was apparently unlicensed to carry firearms, now faces multiple charges, including Trafficking in a Class B Substance (Cocaine) over 200 Grams, Trafficking in Fentanyl over 10 Grams, Possession of a Firearm without an FID Card, Use of a Firearm in a Felony, Improper Storage of a Firearm, Possession of a Large Capacity Feeding Device and Armed Career Criminal Level 3.
