A 19-year-old man was fatally shot early Tuesday in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood. Police responded to a ShotSpotter alert and found him unresponsive near the 6700 block of South East End Avenue. He later died from his injuries at the University of Chicago Medical Center, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
As per the Fox 32 Chicago, the investigation is ongoing but no one has been arrested so far.
The Cook County medical examiner's office is yet to disclose the victim's identity until his family is notified.
