
Earlier today, 21-year-old Trayveon Murry from River Forest, Illinois, was present at a detention hearing at 2600 S. California.
He faced a felony vehicular hijacking charge as stated by the Chicago Police Department.
The charge was a result of an event on Satuday, September 30th, where Murry was suspected of hijacking a vehicle from a 42-year-old man on the 2500 block of W. Jackson Blvd., in the 11th District.
The offender was arrested by the Vehicular Hijacking Task Force members yesterday, October 1.
No additional information has been disclosed at this time.
