A 23-year-old man was fatally shot in the face yesterday around 7:30 pm on South Archer.
According to the Chicago Police Department, the victim found near an alley in the 4100 block of S. Archer, was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition and later succumbed to his injuries.
No suspects are currently in police custody and the motive behind the South Archer shooting remains unknown as stated by the Chicago Police Department.
