
Yesterday evening in Arlington Heights, an individual fainted and stopped breathing. Cook County Sheriff's Police swiftly responded to the incident, employing life-saving measures such as administering Naloxone—also known as NARCAN—and CPR. These measures were taken before medical personnel arrived at the scene. As per their official report, the individual regained consciousness and started breathing again, after which EMTs transported him to the nearest hospital.
The quick response in this incident was initiated by the individual's cousin who placed the emergency call, indicating that the relative had taken an unknown substance.
