Earlier today, an armed robbery occurred on the 2800 Block of West 47th Street, targeting a 50-year-old woman.
The Chicago Police Department reports that at approximately 5:22 a.m., a black sedan pulled up as she was standing on the sidewalk.
Inside were several armed individuals who forcibly demanded her possessions, and went through the victim's pockets.
There are no one in custody yet. Area 1 Detectives are investigating the incident.
