The extensive winter rainstorms damaged the roads around Coronado, prompting imminent repair work. Starting from November 1, Caltrans is set to commence these urgent repairs to improve driving conditions for the city's residents, as reported by the City of Coronado.
These repairs, to quickly get done, will concern Third Street between C and F Avenues and Fourth Street between Alameda Boulevard and J Avenue. Work on Third Street is planned from November 1-3, resuming on November 14. The repair work on Fourth Street is set for November 15. During these dates, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., drivers can anticipate traffic delays.
The City of Coronado has warned that "No Parking" signs will be placed on both sides of Third and Fourth Streets, and alleys and side streets will be closed to through traffic during repairs. Despite the temporary inconvenience to drivers and residents, these steps are necessary for restoring a safe traffic infrastructure.
