
On October 14, in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood, officers from the 10th District Tactical Team of the Chicago Police Department swiftly caught an alleged armed robber who had reportedly stolen a vehicle earlier that day.

In a report by the Chicago Police Department's official Twitter account, it was the concerted effort of the 10th District Tactical Team and the Chicago Police Auto Theft Task Force that led to the arrest. The officers were listening to task force radio traffic when they received information about the stolen vehicle, its alleged use in an armed robbery, and the subsequent car accident. The suspect attempted to escape on foot after the crash but was captured after a brief chase.
