
Last Friday, a violent crime occurred at a busy Chicago CTA station when a 58-year-old man was severely assaulted and robbed.
The alleged offender, 34-year-old Anthony Jackson, was arrested yesterday, and now faces serious legal repercussions, per the Chicago Police Department.
Jackson was apprehended in the 4900 block of W. Madison St. by the Chicago Police Department and the Great Lakes Regional Fugitive Task Force.
He's now charged with one felony count of robbery and another for aggravated battery in a public place. His detention hearing was conducted on October 18, 2023, at 2600 S. California.
