On October 14, a man from Crest Hill, aged 30, was fatally hit by a train on the CTA Red Line as reported by NBC Chicago. The death occurred near the 95th Street station following a traffic stop by Illinois State Police for suspected speeding on the Dan Ryan Expressway.
As the libraries provide by the sources, this tragic event commenced at around 7:45 p.m., when the man's SUV was approached by state troopers. The individual fled the scene on foot after being informed of the reason for the stop. State police lost track of the man, only to later find him on the CTA Red Line tracks, deceased.
