Early today, a 41-year-old woman was the indirect victim of gun violence on the 1700 block of W. Cullerton in Chicago's West Cullerton neighborhood.
The Chicago Police Department reports that she was driving around 5:07 a.m. when she was shot twice in the right armpit.
She was immediately transported to Stroger Hospital in serious condition and the motive behind the gun violence is currently under investigation.
