
Yesterday, two liquor stores in the West Fullerton area of Chicago fell victim to armed robberies. Both incidents, which took place within minutes of each other, involved masked assailants.
The Chicago Police Department reported that the first incident took place around 10:50 p.m., when two masked individuals robbed a store on the 3000 block of W. Fullerton at gunpoint, escaping with an undisclosed amount of money. No injuries were reported from this incident, but the robbers remain at large.
According to the Chicago Police Department, a similar crime occurred at about 10:59 p.m. on the 3500 block of W. Fullerton. In this case, the robbers not only stole money from the cash registers, but also stole personal property forcibly from two store employees. Again, no injuries were reported. Area Five detectives are currently investigating both incidents.
