A 14-year-old individual was charged with six counts of armed robberies in Chicago today. He was apprehended in the 1500 block of S. Christiana Ave. yesterday.
The Chicago Police Department relays that these robberies occurred in the following locations:
- 2300 block of N. Maplewood Ave. (14th District) where the offender took Property at gunpoint from a 66-year-old male victim.
- 3800 block of W. Belmont Ave. (17th District) where he took property at gunpoint from a 51-year-old male victim and another adult male.
- 2300 block of N. Western Ave. (14th District) where he robbed a 42-year-old female victim at gunpoint.
- 200 block of N. Maplewood Ave. (12th District) where the teen took property at gunpoint from a 62-year-old male and a 70-year-old female victim.
The young offender is now in custody and charged accordingly.
