The CTIT, led by Mayor Brandon Johnson, Alderman Gilbert Villegas, and John Roberson, is focused on public safety, smart governance, and connected infrastructure, with George Burciaga of Elevate Cities providing oversight, according to the press release by the Mayor's Press Office.
The Taskforce aims to address challenges faced by cities worldwide due to rapidly evolving technology. It will focus on enhancing resident safety, advancing critical infrastructure, optimizing efficiency cost modeling, and streamlining city operations, details the press release.
