
A 17-year-old male was apprehended on Saturday, October 14, and faces felony charges for armed robbery and possession of a stolen vehicle, as per a Chicago Police Department report. The incidents allegedly took place within a span of twelve hours in the 14th and 11th districts.
The juvenile was arrested at 1:33 p.m. on the 3900 block of W. Jackson Blvd after being identified as a suspect in an earlier armed robbery involving a 38-year-old male victim. The crime scene was determined in the 1600 block of N. Richmond staggeringly less than an hour before the arrest. Additionally, the juvenile was in possession of a vehicle previously reported as stolen from the 3700 block of W. Chicago.
The youth's detention hearing takes place at the 1100 S. Hamilton court facility today.
