Yesterday, Kiara Roberts, a 33-year-old, was arrested in connection to a violent incident on August 31 this year. According to the Chicago Police Department, Roberts faces a felony count of aggravated battery/use of deadly weapon, and two misdemeanor counts of battery - making physical contact. The event occurred on Chicago's 3200 block of W. Douglas Blvd.
Roberts is accused of stabbing a 13-year-old girl, hitting a 37-year-old woman, and forcibly pushing another 15-year-old girl.
The detention hearing is set for today at 2600 S. California.
No further information has been released by the Chicago Police Department.
