On October 6, 14-year-old Allison Bettencourt was reported missing after being dropped off at Hayward High School, CA. The Alameda County Sheriff's Office is conducting investigations to find her. According to the Alameda County Sheriff's Office, Allison knows the areas of Castro Valley, Hayward, and Alameda, and is familiar with public transportation.

Allison was last seen without any money and with only her cell phone. Community efforts to find her have mobilized in the form of social media campaigns, local outreach efforts, and search parties.
