Following a series of robberies and burglaries in Chicago's 1st District, the arrest of offenders Tim Jones, 43, and Cody Lloyd, 31, have been announced. From August to October 2023, Jones and Lloyd allegedly targeted several businesses located on W. Adams Street. The suspects are accused of intruding into these establishments, stealing property, and on occasion, brandishing a deadly weapon. For Tim Jones, the charges are three felony counts of armed robbery, four counts of burglary, and one count of retail theft exceeding $300. Cody Lloyd faces three counts of armed robbery and burglary. Lloyd also has a warrant from another state declaring him a fugitive from justice. A detention hearing for both suspects was scheduled today, at 2600 S. California.
